The release of the GEM-FX4, is a major revamp of the already popular GEM-FX. The main modification is the replacement of the cable driven "Z" axis with a direct drive stepper and lead screw. This major modification will allow you to use fixed or floating depth control on the "Z" axis and provides for a much higher precision, when engraving and cutting. To compliment the "Z" axis modification, we have also fitted a new Cartridge Spindle assembly, this can be replaced by removing a single screw and can easily be returned to your Dealer for refurbishing if required.
